Wedding Ceremonies at Hope Lodge

Plan your wedding ceremony at Historic Hope Lodge. Located only 17 miles north of center city Philadelphia, this elegant, two and three quarter-centuries-old Georgian style mansion is surrounded by 44 acres of rolling meadows and beautifully landscaped gardens. Here you can create a unique and memorable event for you and your family, friends or colleagues on grounds that were originally part of a land grant signed by William Penn. Hope Lodge is a unique venue, full of luscious gardens, brick walkways, a historic barn and a mansion that is one of the finest examples of Georgian architecture in Pennsylvania. The site is perfect for small to medium gatherings offering a serene, historic backdrop for your special day.

All of our wedding ceremonies are outdoors on the grounds where there are many spots for great wedding and portrait photography. Hope Lodge is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Due to the historic nature of the Hope Lodge mansion and its collections, the interior of the house is not available for rentals. You may arrange for house tours to be included as part of your rental agreement but we do not allow fresh flowers or flash photography to be taken inside the buildings.

Wedding ceremony rentals at Hope Lodge are for a total of three and a half hours (three 3 hours for Set-up, Ceremony, Photography and Clean-Up and half hour for rehearsal. We only have one event per day. Our wedding ceremony package includes a rehearsal the evening before, wedding preparation room (with rest room) for the wedding party on the second floor of our visitor center. There is a separate restroom on the grounds and ample parking for your guests.
